“It is important to reach students where they are, not where we want them to be. And it is important to provide feedback in a way that makes students want to hear it; when students crave feedback, they can learn the most. In the language classroom, this means finding a way to correct students’ errors in a way that makes them invite correction without feeling self-conscious.”
